Join the Amazing Bubble Parade!
A workshop which empowers children with the skills and confidence to creatively engage with their community.
Children work with musicians and performance artists to create rhythms, dance moves and costumes, and come together to make a delightful public performance.
It’s an effective way to educate participants on key issues (eg: the videoed workshop focused on how to express yourself publicly in more constructive ways than graffiti vandalism), and improves self-esteem, self-discipline and teamwork skills. And the performance is a marvelous surprise for the audience.
A really positive experience for the kids - the workshops and the outcome. Something they’ll remember forever and hopefully go away and do some of their own creative expressive projects.

It was awesome, it was really good to see kids like out on the street and making music and stuff and everybody liked it … a great surprise.

To actually take it out into the street and see the response of people just lighting up and cheering along and being like, “Wow!” and waving at us was just really great. And there’s a sense that you’re actually just doing something fun and delightful for the community. And giving people that sense that, “Yeah this is the kind of place I live in!”

It’s really fun for the people who are doing it and the people who are watching it, and because loads of people were smiling when we went past them and we were definitely smiling as well and I really enjoyed it and I hope we get to do it again.
